Bio
Put simply Damon Poppleton is a young rising young star on the Australian jazz scene. In addition to his live performances which incapsulate traditional to bop Damon is the youngest recipient of the Generations in Jazz Instrumental Award (2019). He’s was also featured artist on TV’s School Spectacular 2018 and 2019 (the 2020 show was cancelled due to COVID). His EP ‘Check’ was released in 2019.
Song List Stage PlotDamon Poppleton group perform high quality jazz and are available as a duo (sax and bass or sax and piano/guitar), trio (sax, piano/guitar, and bass or sax, bass and drums) or quartet (sax, piano/guitar, bass and drums). The act play a wide variety of jazz, ranging from standards to modern fusion.
